On February 23 Messa da Requiem by Verdi sounds to honor the memory of those who perished during the days of riots in Ukraine

In compliance with the Decree of the President of Ukraine “On Announcement of Days of National Mourning upon the Deceased in Disturbances in Ukraine” the performances Il Trovatore, La Serva Padrona (The Servant Mistress) and The Mystery of the Vienna Wood planned on February 22 and 23 have been CANCELLED.

On Sunday, February 23, Messa da Requiem by Verdi is on stage of the Odessa Opera to honor the ones who lost their lives in recent riots in Ukraine. The soloists are Vasyl NAVROTSKY, People’s Artist of Ukraine, and Honored Artists of Ukraine Larisa ZUENKO, Tetyana SPAS’KA and Vladislav GORAI. Alexandu SAMOILĂ, People’s Artist of the Republic of Moldova and Principal Conductor of the Odessa Opera, conducts the performance.

The tickets bought for the performances Il Trovatore, La Serva Padrona and the Mystery of the Vienna Wood are valid for other performances of the current repertoire. If you want to return your tickets you may do it at the places where you bought the tickets before. You can return the tickets to the Odessa Opera box office on February 22, 23, 25 and 26 from 11:00 am until 5:30 pm. In compliance with Ukrainian legislation while returning or exchanging your tickets in the theater box office it is necessary to have:

  • tickets;
  • receipt;
  • passport.
