Two soloists debut in the Barber of Seville

A soloist of the Odessa Opera Yuri DUDAR (on the left) sings Bartolo in the opera Barber of Seville. The laureate of the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition (The Czech Republic) performed the part of Fiorelli, Count’s servant, in the opera by ROSSINI before that.

There is one more debut in this show. Vasyl DOBROVOLSKY (on the right) is a laureate of singing competitions in Vorsel and Kharkov. He performs the part of Fiorelli.

 

Alexander STRIUK sings Figaro, Zoreslava DOLGA performs the part of Rosina and Dmitry MIKHEYEV appears as Count Almaviva.

Other performers are Sergiy UZUN and Dmytro PAVLYUK (Basilio), Natalia KADANTSEVA (Berta), Volodymir MURASHCHENKO (Officer), The Odessa Opera Chorus and Orchestra.

The opera is led by Alexandru SAMOILĂ, Principal Conductor of the Odessa Opera and People’s Artist of the Republic of Moldova.

The Barber of Seville is on stage on May 22. The performance starts at 6:30 pm.
