Marina Godulyan will debut in “The Barber of Seville”

In the earliest performance “The Barber of Seville” by Gioacchino Rossini, the audience will first enjoy and hear an opera artist Marina Godulyan. She will perform the part of Berta, Bartolo's maid.

Mezzo-soprano Marina Godulyan graduated from Odessa State (now - National) Music Academy in 1997 and was immediately invited to the troupe of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. The repertoire of the singer includes the parts of the operas “Un Ballo in Maschera”, “Rigoletto” and “La Traviata” by Giuseppe Verdi, “The Secret Marriage” by Domenico Cimaroza, “Cavalleria rusticana” by Pietro Mascagni, “The Queen of Spades”, “Eugene Onegin” and “Iolanta” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky and so on.

The opera “The Barber of Seville” under the baton of conductor Margarita Grinivetskaya will be held on the stage of our theatre tomorrow, May 3.
