Two debuts are expected in the opera “Eugene Onegin”

Two opera artists will first perform the parts in the performance “Eugene Onegin” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, which will be held on the stage of our theatre tomorrow, on June 27. The theatre-goers will first be seen Pavlo Smirnov as Lenskiy, and Vitaliy Liskovetskiy - Triquet.

Pavlo Smirnov graduated from Odessa National Music Academy named after Nezhdanova. In 2011/14 he worked at Odessa Musical Comedy Theatre, since 2015 he was invited to the opera company of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He toured in Poland, Moldova, Bulgaria, Romania, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Austria, Germany, France and Spain. The repertoire includes parties in “Eugene Onegin”, “The Queen of Spades” and “Iolanta” by Tchaikovsky, “Prince Igor” by Borodin, “Aida” by Verdi, “Turandot” by Puccini, “Nabucco” and “Troubadour” by Verdi.

Vitaliy Liskovetskiy is a laureate of international competitions, graduated from Lviv National Musical Academy named after Lysenko. He worked as a soloist in Lviv National Theatre of Opera and Ballet named after Krushelnitska, in Kharkiv and Dnieper Operas. He toured in Poland, Russia, China, Spain and the UK. In 2016/18 he repeatedly performed in the theaters of the Kingdom of Great Britain - in Liverpool, Manchester, Edinburgh, Belfast.

The opera "Eugene Onegin" will be held in a semi-stage format. Conductor - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Ihor Chernetskyi.
