Oleksii Zhmudenko will first perform the main part in the opera "Eugene Onegin"

Soloist of National Opera of Ukraine Serhii Kovnir will join the artists of our theatre who will take part in the upcoming performance "Eugene Onegin" by Tchaikovsky. The invited guest will play the part of Hremin. In the main part the connoisseurs will first hear the baritone OleksiiZhmudenko, who has recently become a member of Odessa Opera House.

Oleksii Zhmudenko is a laureate of the international competitions, a graduate of Kiev Higher Music College named after Reinhold Glier and National Music Academy of Ukraine named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky. From 2011 to 2019 he worked as a soloist at Kiev Municipal Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre for Children and Youth. He toured in Italy, Switzerland, France, Germany. This year in April he has joined the troupe of Odessa Opera House and has already managed to appear as Ibn-Hakia("Iolanta" by Tchaikovsky) and Amonasro ("Aida" by Verdi).

Honoured Artist of Ukraine Serhii Kovnir is a laureate of numerous all-Ukrainian and international vocal competitions. He graduated from National Music Academy of Ukraine named after Pyotr Tchaikovsky, he worked as a soloist in House of Organ Music in the Dnieper, the State Academic Musical Theatre for Children and Youth in Kiev. In 2003 he was invited to National Opera of Ukraine. He participated in the festivals in Saratov and Kazan (Russia), as well as in Salzburg (Austria). He toured in Germany, Latvia, Belgium, Denmark, Italy, Spain, Russia, Portugal, France, Holland, Japan and other countries.
