Volodymyr Statnyi will first dance the part of Hilarion in the ballet ”Giselle”

Premier danseur of the ballet troupe, Honoured Artist of the Republic of Moldova, Volodymyr Statnyi, will first perform the part of Hilarion in the ballet ”Giselle” by Adolf Adan. The performance will take place on Friday, October 11th.

Volodymyr Statnyi – is a laureate of the National Prize of the Republic of Moldova for Literature and Art (2007). He graduated from the Moldavian Academy of Music, Theatre and Art, he worked at National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Chisinau. Volodymyr Statnyi collaborated with choreographers Yurii Hryhorovych, Yurii Vietrov, Borys Eifman, Radu Poklitaru, Heorhii Kovtun, Hedeminas Taranda and others. He toured in the UK, China, Germany, Denmark, Holland, the USA, Italy, Spain (including the Canary Islands), France, China, Sweden, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia and Montenegro and Colombia. The dancer was invited to the ballet troupe of Odessa Opera House in 2009. He performs leading parts in classical and modern ballets of the current repertoire.

The main part in the performance on October 11 will be performed by Oleksandra Vorobova, the part of Albrecht - Andrii Pisariev, Myrtha - Alina Sharai.

The theatre-goers will also see ballet dancer Vlada Arizonova in Pas de deux for the first time. Her partner will be Stanislav Varankin.
