Larysa Hrytsai will first dance the main part in “The Sleeping Beauty” on the Odessa stage

Larysa Hrytsai, the ballet soloist of Odessa Opera House will first appear on the stage of the theatre as Princess Aurora in the ballet “The Sleeping Beauty” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The performance will be held on Sunday, October 27th.

Larysa Hrytsai is a winner and laureate of children and youth competitions “Fuete Artek”, “The Odessa Pearls”, “Glass slipper”. She graduated from Kharkov Culture School and Kharkov National Pedagogical University named after Hryhorii Skovoroda.

From 2006 to 2019 she worked in the ballet troupe of Kharkov National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. In 2012-2016 she was a professor at Kharkov National Pedagogical University named after Hryhorii Skovoroda (department "Choreography"). She toured in Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, Sweden, Japan, Denmark, Great Britain, Egypt, France, Germany, Hungary and China. The ballerina has been invited to Odessa Opera House in June 2019.

The role of Prince Desire in the performance on October 27 will be performed by Andrii Pisariev, the Lilac Fairy - Alina Sharai, the evil fairy Carabosse - Honoured Artist of the Republic of Moldova Volodymyr Statnyi.
