Viktor Mitiushkin will first sing in a new version of the opera “Il Trovatore”

In the earliest performance “Il Trovatore”, the theatre-goers will first see People's Artist of Ukraine Viktor Mitiushkin as Count di Luna. The opera will be held on Friday, February 21.

Viktor Mitiushkin (baritone) is a laureate of international competitions and a participant of international music festivals. He has been working in the opera company of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre since 1990. In the period from 2003 to 2005 he worked at Bolshoi Theatre of Russia. His repertoire includes more than thirty leading parts in the operas “The Queen of Spades” and “Mazepa” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky, “The Fiery Angel” by Serhii Prokofiev, “Falstaff”, “Il Trovatore” , “ Un ballo in maschera”, “Rigoletto”, “Macbeth” and “Nabucco” by Giuseppe Verdi and others.

Viktor Mitiushkin performed on the stages of National Opera of Ukraine in Kyiv, Festschpil Haus in Salzburg, Theater du Chatelet in Paris, Grand Theater in Geneva, participated in the concerts in Munich, Bonn, Berlin, Zurich. He has toured in Italy, Spain, Russia. He is an assistant professor of solo singing at Odessa National Music Academy named after Antonina Nezhdanova.

At the performance on February 21, Yuliia Tereshchuk and Oleksandr Shults will perform the parts of Leonora and Manrico. The other parts: Honoured Artists of Ukraine Tetiana Spaska (Azucena) and Dmytro Pavliuk (Ferrando), Iryna Repetii (Ines), Andrii Perfilov (Ruiz).
