Konstantin ANDREEV sings Rodolfo in Odessa for the first time

Konstantin ANDREEV (in the photo) sings Rodolfo in the opera La Bohème by Giacomo Puccini on March 19, 2014. It will be the first time when the singer appears as Rodolfo on the Odessa Opera stage. He has performed this part quite a number of times on the best stages of Europe. 

We would like to remind you that Konstantin ANDREEV has been invited to join the Odessa Opera Company in the beginning if this theatrical season. He has sung in the theatres of Spain, Italy, the UK, France, Germany and other countries. The singer is the Third Prize winner in the Zimin International Singing Competition in Moscow (1996), Third Prize winner and The Special Prize holder in the Domingo International Competition Operalia (2000) in Los Angeles. a holder of a prize for the best rendering of Russian music in Vinas International Competition for Young Singers (1997), The First Prize Winner in Fundacion Guerrero International Singing Competition (2000) and in International Maestro Alonso Competition in Madrid (2001).

Julia TERSHCHUK is starring as Mimi in La Bohème on March 19. Other performers are Alina VOROKH (Musetta), Vasyl DOBROVOLSKY (Schaunard), Volodimir MURASHCHENKO (Marcello) and Sergiy UZUN (Colline). An opera soloist Dmytro SEBOV appears in three roles at once: as Benoît, Alcindoro and Sergeant.

Vitaly KOVALCHUK conducts the performance.
