Guest soloist will take part in a new version of the opera "Aida" by G. Verdi.

 

A soloist of National Opera of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko Alla Poznyak will perform the part of Amneris in a new version of the opera "Aida" by G. Verdi. The performance  will be held on April, 9.

Alla Poznyak is a graduate of the Kharkov Art Institute named after Ivan Kotlyarevskiy. She is a laureate of the I International Opera Singers Competition named after Ivan Alchevskiy (Ukraine), and a winner of the International Contest of Vocalists named after Antonin Dvorak (Czech Republic).

She joined the troupe of National Opera of Ukraine named after Taras Shevchenko in 2004. At the theater Alla Poznyak has performed many parts:  Lyubasha ( "Tsar's Bride" by Nikolay Rimskiy-Korsakov); Marfa and Marina ( "Khovanshchina" and "Boris Godunov" by Modest Mussorgskiy); Milovzor, ​​Olga and Lyubov Kochubey ( "The Queen of Spades", "Eugene Onegin" and "Mazepa" by  Pyotr Tchaikovskiy); Azucena, Amneris, Eboli, Ulrica and Maddalena ( "Il Trovatore", "Aida", "Don Carlos",  “Un ballo in maschera "  and "Rigoletto" by Giuseppe Verdi) and other parts.

In 2009 after the performance of "Requiem" by Giuseppe Verdi at Festival de musique La Chaise-Dieu the newspaper Le Progrès (Lyon, France) highlighted the unique voice of Alla Poznyak, "a powerful and rare tone colour."The artist has toured in Japan, Italy, Germany, Austria, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey and Russia. She has participated in recordings for the funds of National Radio of Ukraine, as well as she has sung Eboli for “Don Carlos” DVD production staged by Opera Theatre named after Luciano Pavarotti (Modena, Italy).
