Hiroko Morita will perform the part of Chio-Chio-San at the premiere!

 At the premiere “Madame Butterfly” the theatre invited the
soprano Hiroko Morita to perform the part of Chio-Chio-San!
Hiroko Morita was born in Kyoto, Japan. She graduated with
honours from State University of Fine Arts and Music in Tokyo
under the direction of Alda Noni and Marcella Reale. In the
same university she received a master's degree under the
guidance of the famous soprano Yasuko Hayashi. She
participated in Mirella Freni's master class. Hiroko Morita is a
winner of many international contests (“Villa Incanto”,
“Gaetano Frasini”, “Anselmo Koltsani”, etc.)

Adina (“L'elisir d'amore” by G. Donizetti)
In 2007 she debuted in Milan in the opera “Madame Butterfly”,
directed by Roberto Janola. In 2008 she performed the role of
Chio-chio-san in theatres in the USA, Colombia and Peru. She
was awarded the prize mezzo-soprano of Teresa Berganza and
was recognized as “The Best Butterfly”.
