Eduard Martyniuk will first perform the part of Vaudemont on the Odessa stage

Tenor Eduard Martyniuk will first appear on the Odessa stage as Vaudemont in the opera “Iolanta” by Pyotr Tchaikovsky. The singer has already performed this part at other stages, in particular at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow.

Eduard Martyniuk graduated from Dnipropetrovsk State Theatre School. He worked at Odessa Musical Comedy Theatre, The Urals Municipal Operetta Theatre, Belarusian State Musical Theatre and Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus. The singer was invited to the troupe of Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre in 2018. The tenor toured in Thailand, Germany, Hungary, North Korea, Japan, Belgium and the Netherlands. He sang at Zurich Opera House, at Erfurt Theatre, Vanemuine Theatre (Tartu, Estonia), Hungarian State Opera, State Opera in Prague and National Theatre in Brno.

The performance "Iolanta" will take place on the stage of Odessa Opera House on September 10. The main part will be performed by Anastasiia Holub, the others - Honoured Artist of Ukraine Dmytro Pavliuk (King Rene), Maryna Hodulian (Nursemaid), Alina Vorokh and Ilona Skrypnik (Iolanta's friends), Oleksii Hruzin (Robert), Oleksii Zhmudenko (Ibn-Hakia), Andrii Perfilov (Almerik) and Dmytro Sebov (Bertrand).
